The Master of Public Health in Community Health Education Program through the College of Science and Health at the University of Wisconsin prepares students to work in various settings related to community health. The program is practitioner-oriented and includes instruction in behavioral theory, communication and motivational processes. The program also includes instruction in community intervention strategies and evaluation procedures in community health that focus on health promotion and prevention. It is the first degree of its kind in the University of Wisconsin system. The program is theory-driven and promotes the prevention of disease within populations.
