Master of Public Health (MPH)
BYU's Master of Public Health (MPH) offers a practice-oriented degree credential for aspiring public health practitioners dedicated to promoting wellness and preventing disease thousands at a time. The program gives graduate students the skills to improve the health of entire communities in leadership roles for government, business, industry, non-profit, or healthcare organizations. Fully accredited by the CEPH since 2005, the two-year program requires at least 48 credits with a 300-hour supervised field experience. MPH students can complete their fieldwork abroad with the David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies. In the final term, students must successfully pass the Certified in Public Health (CPH) exam. Certificate programs are also available in Global Health and Community Health Education.

Master of Public Health (MPH)
Since 1978, the CEPH-accredited Master of Public Health (MPH) program at the University of Utah has excelled in preparing graduate students for leading practice-focused public health careers to improve the wellness of humankind. The general program covers all five core competency areas of biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental health, public health administration, and social/behavioral health. Students are required to complete 45 credits over two years full-time or longer part-time. Completing at least 270 clock hours of field practicum to obtain direct, hands-on experience in public health agencies is required. New students with an accredited bachelor's degree and minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 are admitted every February and October. There's also a Master of Statistics (MStat) in Biostatistics offered.

With great emphasis on respect for human diversity, Westminster's Public Health (MPH) program aims to produce public health leaders with the skills to create improved conditions under which communities can be healthy. All coursework is taught in a "worker-friendly" mode with class sessions every two weeks on a Friday and Saturday. Small class sizes mean MPH students can receive individualized mentorship with experienced faculty and meaningful practice experiences. Generally, the 45-credit curriculum can be completed in two years with fieldwork and a capstone research project. Students follow the same core with courses in environmental health, behavioral science, epidemiology, health services management, ethics, statistical methods, and program planning.
